You read that right – Girls that Scuba are running our first ever Christmas Sweater Competition!
If there’s one thing we know about divers, it’s that they LOVE to talk about diving at any opportunity. And when it comes to Christmas sweater season, our festive clothes should give us another chance to do just that, right?
We know there are some incredible artists and designers in our community, and we’re giving you the chance to have your artwork featured in the Girls that Scuba Store on a limited edition Christmas Sweater.
The winning design will be available to purchase for a limited time on the Girls that Scuba Store. AND, we’ll be sharing 50% of the profits with the winning designer!
We’ll also be promoting the winning designer on our social channels to get you the well-deserved recognition for your design.
The design must be:
- designed to work on a RED background
- submitted in PNG or JPEG format
- a maximum of 12″ width by 16″ height

Terms & Conditions
Before you submit your designs, please take a moment to read through the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
- This competition is open to all Girls that Scuba members.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter.
- Entry is free, and you can submit as many unique designs as you like.
2. Entry Requirements
- Designs must be original, holiday-themed, and relate to diving or ocean life. Designs must not be AI generated, and you must own the rights to any designs you submit.
- Submitted artwork must be digital (high-resolution preferred).
- By entering, participants agree that Girls that Scuba may use the design in promotional materials, regardless of winning.
3. Winner Selection
- Winners will be selected based on creativity, relevance, and visual appeal by a panel of judges from Girls that Scuba.
- Winners will be notified via email or social media within one week of the closing date, November 1st 2024.
4. Prizes
Winners of the competition will receive the following:
- Your design for sale on a sweater. Your winning design will be printed on a limited-edition Christmas sweater and made available for sale in the Girls that Scuba online shop. You will also receive one of the finished sweaters with your final design.
- Revenue sharing. You will receive 50% of the net profits generated from sales of sweaters with your design.
- Acknowledgment and exposure. Your design and name will be promoted on our website and social media channels.
5. Explanation of “Profits”
- “Profits” refer to the net income earned from sweater sales after deducting production, shipping, marketing, and other associated costs.
- We will calculate and share 50% of these profits with you on a quarterly basis.
6. Sales & Earnings Expectations
- While we’re thrilled to feature winning designs, the actual sales volume may vary, and we cannot guarantee a high number of sales. As such, we want to set clear expectations that the income from your design may be modest, depending on the popularity of the design and overall sales.
7. Intellectual Property
- By submitting your design, you grant Girls that Scuba an exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, and distribute the design on a sweater and for marketing purposes.
- Winning designers will still own their original artwork and can showcase it in their personal portfolios, but Girls that Scuba retains exclusive rights to use the design on the Christmas sweater.
8. Amendments & Final Decisions
- Girls that Scuba reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to make the final decision regarding all aspects of the competition.
